ITINERARY:

Day 1: ARRIVAL

Welcome at the airport and transfer to your boutique hotel in the heart of Mira Flores

Enjoy the bustling and sophisticated neighbouhood of Miraflores and its vibrant hub the 'Parque Kennedy'

Day 2: GASTRONOMIC TOUR OF LIMA

The gastronomic tour of Lima, starts in a local roastery in the bohemian district of Barranco where daily, the coffer beans are hand-picked for an organic Peruvian coffee. You will also tour the colonial streets of Barranco, home to artists, musicians and the city's top art galleries.  Continue toa traditional local market in the district of San Isidro to try exotic fruits and products and to learn the ancient myths and legends associated with them.  The next stop is one of the city’s top seafood restaurants (cebicherías): Embarcadero 41 Fusion in Miraflores district.  You will discover the secrets to the perfect Cebiche and Piscou Sour preparing this dish and cocktail yourself with the head chef and bartender. The last stop is for lunch at Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, within a pre-Inca  archaeological complex. This restaurant is so impressive that the last King of Spain (Juan Carlos), Mick Jagger, Bill and Hillary Clinton, just to name a few, have made sure not to miss it during their trips to Lima.  Enjoy a variety of gourmet  Peruvian dishes as well as four different desserts and another pisco-based cocktail.

Spend free time in the afternoon to further explore this city of contrasts, perhaps explore Larco Mar and meander through the bohemian disctrict of Barranco and experience a local Pena with fine Creole cuisine.

Day 3: LIMA COOKING TASTING & FINE DINING

The excursion begins with a walk on a  specific route through the center of Miraflores, passing a number of
the city’s most recognized eateries along the way.
At the well-known Surquillo Market, you will be able to meet with vendors and try any of the exotic fruits on display.Take in the busy atmosphere and mix  with locals as they purchase the day’s goods. This market is a known stamping ground for some of the city's most innovative chefs, in search of their next flavor combinations. A brief drive over to another notable culinary destination: the San Isidro Market, where we will make a special visit to the renowned  father and son team of fish vendors, Abel and Eduardo, whose stand has been a mainstay for nearly two decades. The last stop will be at Chef Gonzalo’s intimate top floor restaurant at the Hotel Runcu. This is where you will finally have a chance to get your hands dirty, as the chef has converted his dining area into a  classroom in order to depth comprehensive lesson on making a Peruvian meal and a Pisco Sour. Chef Gonzalo is not only a food lover, but also a lover of Peru,  and there is nothing that he loves more than teaching his craft to those who are interested. After a morning spent with food on your mind, your meal will be the most delicious thing you have ever tried.
