ITINERARY:    

DAY 1 - Bariloche

Arrival in Bariloche airport. After signing the car rental contract you will be free to head for the city of Bariloche.

We recommend: Once settled in the hotel you may head to Cathedral Hill. There you can take the cable car and reach the mountain viewpoint.

Distances: 44 km from the city and back.

DAY 2 - Short circuit & Campanario Mt

We recommend: You may begin the tour to the south coast of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. On Mt Campanario you will fin a small chairlift which ascend to 1050 mts and the views are wonderful.

Distances: Approx. 80 km round trip from downtown.

DAY 3 - Bariloche/Villa La Angostura

After breakfast departure to Villa La Angostura. In the Patagonian Andes, surrounded by lakes, rivers, and an
ancient forest, it keeps the harmony and peace of a mountain village, ideal for relax. We recommend: Navigation to Arrayanes Forest.


The Arrayanes forest is much more than an excursion; it has been transformed into a symbol of Villa la Angostura. It lies at the end of the Quetrihué Peninsula and extends 12 km in the Nahuel Huapi Lake forming the Arrayanes National Park. The Myrtle (Arrayanes) is a very common tree in the park; there are species of more than 650 years in some cases. The ride is relaxed with an hour of navigation, enjoying the mountain frame on the shore of the Nahuel Huapi and the majestic bays (Manzano - Las Balsas-Cumelen) where you will find besides the nature a singular unique architectural beauty.

Distances: 83 km from Bariloche to Villa La Angostura.

DAY 4 - Villa La Angostura

We recommend: Enjoy the different alternatives which offer the Villa, its wonderful landscapes such as Correntoso Hotel viewpoint, cerro Bayo, the Nahuel Huapi Lake, the emblematic Bahía Manzano or the Quetrihué peninsula and its famous arrayanes forest and the traditional craftsmen fair. Impossible to miss a visit to the market, an experience that includes shops, gastronomic experiences, and art galleries.

Distances: 30 or 40 km depending on the itinerary.

DAY 5 Villa La Angostura/San Martin de los Andes

Start the day by the famous 7 Lake Route to reach San Martin de los Andes. Along the day your will find the Espejo Chico and Traful lakes. Then Villarino and Falkner lakes. In the 141 km you will find the Vulignanco waterfall and then Hermoso Lake to finally reach the Arrayan viewpoint with wonderful views of Lacar Lake and San
Martin de los Andes.

Distances: 110 km (some unpaved)

DAY 6 - San Martin de los Andes

We recommend: Visit to Lake Huechulafquen, located on the southern slope of the majestic Lanin volcano.

Distances: 203 km (only 88 unpaved)

DAY 7 - San Martin de los Andes/Bariloche

We recommend: Return to Bariloche through Paso Cordoba. After a visit to Villa Traful, continue towards the enchanted Valley with its strange rock formations like Finger of God, The Sentinel, and Railway Express, among others.

Distances: 233 km
