ITINERARY:

DAY 1 - CUSCO TO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
Arrive to Cuzco, and transfer out to the beautiful Urubamba Valley (Sacred Valley of the Inca’s) where we’ll spend the next two nights. After driving through beautiful scenery, visit the village of Chinchero located 28
Km. (17 miles) from Cusco.
Transfer to the town of Chequerec (Chinchero), where we startd the tour on bicycles, towards the archaeological group of Moray. We continue along the mule track leading to the village of Maras, stopping enorute ot enjoy a spec ilaly prpared Peruvisn Picnic lunch.  then pedalling downhill towards  Maras (salt mines). Transfer to your boutique hotel, an 18th century Monastery.

DAY 2: RAFTING THE URUBAMBA RIVER
An early morining start as you transfer to the private dock in Urubamba, to begin river rafting down the Urubamba Rio. You will go through grade 1-4 rapids, an exhiliarting  experience which combines the excitement of the river with beautiful landscapes. 

Enjoy lunch and then  continue to explore the beautiful Urubamba Valley

Day 3: CLIMBING & ZIP LINING THE SACRED VALLEY
This morning relish your next adrenalin packed adventure scaling a 400 metre rock face to enjoy the majestic views across the Urubamba valley, using the via ferata system.You are attached to a double-carabiner system and steel life-line. Feel the unique emotions climbing up 400 meters using iron ladders 
and knowing you are 100% safe. Enjoy the breathtaking view. Then, descend to the base of the  mountain by 5 cables of zip-line, which gives people of all ages the opportunity to fly over this  magical and magnificent valley, in a safe and fun way. 


Return to your hotel and relax, preparing for the next adventure, your 4 day hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Start of Inca Trail Day 1
An early start as you are transferred to the 82 km mark to officially start your 4 day trek. Once registered the first day is Peruvian Flat, passing through some local villages and archelogical inca sites. Tonites cmap is at the base of the infamous Dead Womens Pass.

Day 5: Inca Trail Day 2
Early morning start as after breakfast you climb slowly through changing landscape up to the peak of dead womans pass at 4300 metres above sea level. Take time to rest and enjoy the view before decending back down into the next valley where camp is set up for the night.

Day 6: Inca Trail Day 3
Enjoy a cup of tea/cafe or chocolate and breafast before making ther next tek up to 4000 metres and walking through the cloud forest, a unque micro climate and one of the highlights of the trail including numerous important inca sites. You start decending to the last camp site of Winay Wayna just a few kilometres from the site of Machu Picchu.

Day 7: Machu Picchu
Waking pre-dawn and walking the last few kilometres to the infamous Sun Gate is one of the highlighta of this trek. Arrive before the sun rises to enjoy your first glimpse of this magical site, trek down to the inn- keepers hut in time to see the sun rose over the majestic Andes and touch the famous site, Machu Picchu – the “Lost City of the Incas”, rediscovered by archaeologist Hiram Bingham in 1911. It is truly one of the most  beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world. Time to rest and eat some breakfast then enjoy a private tour of the site.Tine to explore some more then head by coach to the town of Aguas Calinetes. Late afternoon enjoy your vistadome train back from Aguas Calientes to Cusco.  Checkin to your boutique hotel in the Artisan neighbourhood of San Blas.

Day 8 - Cuzco
A half day tour today reveals  to us the ancient city that was known by the Incas as the “Navel of the
World”. table followed by a visit of the surrounding ruins of Puka Pukara, Kenko, Tampu Machay, and
the renowned fortress and religious site of Sacsayhuaman, famous for its cosmic energy.
Cuzco  is an exquisite mix of Incan and Spanish colonial influences.

Day 9:  Cuzco
This is a free day to explore Cuzco and enjoy the special atmosphere.  Browse in the many craft shops, enjoy a coffee overlooking the plaza, or relax in the courtyard of your colonial style hotel. Your guides will be able to provide you with a host of incredible options within the city and beyond from visiting local markets and artisan shops, to the many varied community projects working with local indigenous groups. Cuzco us home to some of Peru's finest restaurants and is known for its ecclectic mix of bars. The Fallen Angel is a must for anyone seeking a unique mixture of kitsch and ultra cool.

Day 10: Departure
Enjoy your buffet breakfast take in some last minute shopping before being transferred to the airport for your onward travel.
